Quadra Reflector Adapter MK-II is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, but best fit for genuine Elinchrom This adapter works well for use with the Quadra strobe heads. (I have the new HS head used with the ELB400). My only reservation is that non-Elinchrom light modifers may have a difficult fit. I bought this for use with an Impact Deep Oct Luxbank. The Luxbank works well on the head with this adapter, but because of the screws et al that allow for different plates to be used on the same speedring, it doesn't have a super-secure fit. (The screws impede this.) That said, I used it for a week on location and never had an issue with the box coming off. I might go ahead and invest in a pricey, but properly fitting Elincrhom speedring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes My Quadra Heads fit my studio softboxes This is a must have if you have other Elinchrom gear. Many of the Elinchrom light modifiers are made to fit the studio mono lights so you need this adapter to use them with the Quadra heads. It looks strong enough to mount small softboxes and relectors to a light stand, but my medium Photoflex OctoDome 5'Softbox is way too much. Like mounting you 100-400mm pro lens to a small plastic SLR. It will fit but you will mount the lens to the tripod not the camera. Same here I would mount the Speed Ring to the stand not the adapter. They make Quadra light modifiers, but they will never fit the mono lights so I would opt for ones that fit both most of the time. Fits secure and positive click into pace on the Quadra Head with its plastic clips and then the light modifiers lock in place just like all the other Elinchrom gear.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly Made, Overpriced Junk Poorly made, overpriced piece of junk. Unfortunately the only way to attach most things to these heads. Not made well. Priced very high. SO unfortunate for such a crucial item for this system. Not sure what Elinchrom was thinking, except that they would have people who buy this system in a spot where they would be forced to buy this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice! Seems like this works well with a better, more secure support system than previous one. One note; don't think just because this adapts a Quadra head onto an Elinchrom reflector system that this will work with ALL third party speed rings..... as it won't due to it's locking mechanism. I ordered a Chimera EL speed ring which worked fine with it but other third party off brand rings won't always work as there is interference with the locking collar on the adaptor. Otherwise should work with all EL modifiers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still fine Other than the shorter mount, I'm not sure what changed. Perhaps the description could be updated? Either way, it's a moot point becuase the old ones are gone. I use these full time on four quadra heads. I've never had a single issue, other than the two mounts sometimes making it hard to manipulate the tensioner arms. I just removed the stock one and rely on this one only to free-up space while using them and it's been a huge improvement. I do wish there was an easier and lower-bulk way to use Rotalux mods on the quadra, but you just can't have your lightweight, portable cake and eat it too. Also - been using these for five years in a professional, high-use capacity (mostly the older ones obviously) and have never had anything break at all. Just take care of your gear the way you should!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Necessary for the ELB kit Works as it should. Very pricey, should be included with the ELB 400 kit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bending Issue not resolved Very happy with the Quadra ELB400 but this product is not suitable for anything larger than 100cm. Used twice with the 135cm Rotalux Octo and the mounting bracket bent enough to restrict the removal of the quadra head. This was the same problem that plagued the MkI version.
