Porta Brace's RIG-FS7ENGOR Camera Case with Wheels has enough space to house an assembled Sony PXW-FS7 for protection and transport. Since the camera does not have to be extensively broken down, you can take it out of the case and be ready to shoot within seconds. The case is manufactured from abrasion-resistant 1000-denier Cordura on the outside. Inside, the camera is protected by a layer of padding surrounding a hollow-core rigid frame lined with copper-colored Veltex. The Veltex material protects the camera and allows for positioning of divider panels anywhere inside the case. For storing accessories and other on-set essentials, dual large exterior pockets are easily accessible on the outside of the case. For extra security, a camera tie-down strap is included. The off-road wheels roll smoothly over almost any surface. The durable solid steel mini-axle system allows the wheels to be easily removed for snag-free shipping and air travel.

Does it fit in an overhead compartment of a plane? Anyone any experience?
Standard carry-on luggage size tends to be 22 x 14 x 9 inches. This case has exterior dimensions 32.75 x 17.00 x 13.00 inches, it is too large for carry-on.

question
Can I take this on a plane as a carry on?
No. Much too large to take as a carry on. Will definitely not fit in the overhead bins.

question
Is this case tall enough to store the FS7 with a Zacuto or Sony baseplate attached to it?
Yes, but one problem. The strapts that are attached inside the case to hold the camera fermly in place are in the wrong location making it impossible to use them. The case is actually to big leaving too much space for the camera to move around inside. it's a poor design. I returned the item for a refund. 9
