SUPER strong and easyto install

I mount TV's fairly regularly and this Peerless AV PA 762 is the strongest mount we've seen. It is VERY sturdy and relatively easy to install. Of course, finding the correct mounting method for each wall is always something to consider but this mount is a piece of cake.

Not worth what it costs!!!

I installed the mount using Carriage Bolts in the top that go through the wall next to studs (Backside is in my pantry) and lag bolts in the bottom into the studs. I figured the top would need a little extra for the 132lbs 86 LG that i was mounting, I used a 4' 2X6 in the pantry that the Carriage bolts go through. After installing the TV onto the mount i noticed while i had the TV about 10 from the wall plugging in my HDMI and Optical Audio cords that the arms were already starting to bend. After securing the cords I tried pushing the TV up against the wall but was unable because the bend was too much to collapse into its self. I ended up building 2 little tables for each bottom corner of the TV to sit on and strapped the top to the wall until the new mount i ordered from Amazon arrived.

Of course the studs are 24" apart and closer to the wall than they should be (if everything was perfect). I'm hanging an older 65" plasma which weighs 86 pounds. My question is two-part. Will the plate extend to 24"? and if I need to move the mounting bracket to left of center, will I be okay? I hope someone reads this and can answer it.
Asked by: Jamey
The width of the mount is 20" for the Studs, you can mount it on the plate left of center.

question

I just started looking at wall mounts and am not really clear on the mounting pattern info. Does this spec: Vesa 200 x 100 to 600 x 400 Compatible mean it would be compatible with my 52 Sony Bravia that has a 400 x 300 hole mount pattern?
Asked by: Laura R.
Short answer is yes. The bracket that mounts to your TV has many options on the horizontal bars and slides up and down the center vertical bar.

question

Do it support curve tv's?
Asked by: Londreal W.
I don't see why it would not. I don't have a curve TV setup, but I believe that's a question for the TV manufacturer. Does the TV need a special mounting bracket for a wall installation . I've never seen a special bracket. Costco sells a universal wall bracket 20' from the curved TV's.
