Of course the studs are 24" apart and closer to the wall than they should be (if everything was perfect). I'm hanging an older 65" plasma which weighs 86 pounds. My question is two-part. Will the plate extend to 24"? and if I need to move the mounting bracket to left of center, will I be okay? I hope someone reads this and can answer it.
Asked by: Jamey
The width of the mount is 20" for the Studs, you can mount it on the plate left of center.

question

I just started looking at wall mounts and am not really clear on the mounting pattern info. Does this spec: Vesa 200 x 100 to 600 x 400 Compatible mean it would be compatible with my 52 Sony Bravia that has a 400 x 300 hole mount pattern?
Asked by: Laura R.
This is designed to be very flexible and cover a range of mounting VESA config's. You should be fine since your 400 x 300 falls within the range.

question

Do it support curve tv's?
Asked by: Londreal W.
I don't see why it would not. I don't have a curve TV setup, but I believe that's a question for the TV manufacturer. Does the TV need a special mounting bracket for a wall installation . I've never seen a special bracket. Costco sells a universal wall bracket 20' from the curved TV's.
