Almost there

I like this. It's probably about $50 too expensive and it's really a pain in the butt that you need an allen wrench to attach or unattach it in the field, but the build quality and fit is much better than the AB version I purchased prior.

Solid!

Nice replacement for my Tilta battery plate. Purchased for the DC in option for mains power if needed. The GP-A-FS7 is tall and sits closer to the camera then the Tilta battery plate and as I have the Tilta shoulder rig too I had to remove the back 15mm rail holders, no big deal... Allen wrench. Only thing: The back... or the inside of the plate, the part that faces the back of the camera... The back of the GP-A-FS7, the wiring is not sealed - not that I'm gonna' be standing in the rain but, just saying'. I do really like this plate it helps keep my ever-growing Frankenstein's monster of a camera somewhat more compact.

Will this fit Sony FX9?
Asked by: Yura
We're afraid not. This is for the FS7 only, it will not work with the FX9.

question

Will this fit an FS7 on a Tilta-Rig baseplate? It looks long, I wonder if it will jam into the 15mm rail mounts on the back of the Tilta plate.
Asked by: Branson
I'll answer my own question.... as I went and bought the thing...Yes the plate too long (tall) to fit an FS7 on a Titla rig base plate but you can take the back 15mm rail mounts off of the Tilts and you are good to go.

question

My Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery doesnt seat firmly in the adapter. If the battery wiggles at all, then power cuts off for a second and stops recording. Has anybody else run into this?
Asked by: Jason
Yes my adapter does the same
