This is a very simple device. It works as advertised. I like it much better than some of the old designs. I am happy with the purchase.

I would rather not have the strap to support your camera. Its not a tripod so I don't need it assuming you got it just to steady, move and shoot your camera and so it's just in the way especially if you're trying to manually focus then take it off. I don't use it so I unbuckle it every time so it flaps to the sides. Also dimensions are around 18 ish front to back not 19.5 like it says unless you go diagonal. But I got it for the camo to match my lens coat. So that's a plus and it does its purpose besides the annoying strap

This is a well made bag that I expect to last for years. Camo color choices are good, and bag colors are true to the color shown online. Excellent in all ways.

Is the strap long enough to wrap around the lens effectively attaching it so it can be moved with the lens?
Asked by: Robert
Generally, the strap in the center of the LensCoat LensSack Beanbag Camera Support would not need to be wrapped around the lens in order to support it. The lens would simply rest on the Beanbag for support. Whether the strap is long enough to wrap around the lens would depend on the lens being used with it.

Thinking about using this on top of a foam apple box to stabilize a shoulder rig camera for long shots on a reality tv shoot as well as use it as a pad for sitting on the apple box, is this comfortable to sit on when filled with polybeads?

While comfort is subjective and may differ from person to person, the LensCoat LensSack Beanbag Camera Support (Black) would be compatible for your stated usage needs and should be relatively comfortable.

question

What is the internal volume of the lens sack?
Asked by: keith b.
If the dimensions of the beanbag are 19.5 x 11.5 inches (49.5 x 29.2 cm), then the overall volume is 224.25 cubic inches (1445.4 cubic centimeters). That converts to about 1.0 US gallon, specifically 0.971 gallon (3.675 liters). Anything more accurate than that could be provided by the manufacturer.

question

It looks like some of the beanbag camera supports come already filled and some don't. Does this one come filled? It doesn't state specifically, so I want to make sure. Thanks!
Asked by: Michelle
I fill mine with sunflower seed. Empty it later or anywhere for the birds. No littering.
