LensCoat Jr Reviews

Good, as expected

I did not anticipate the capacity of this thing and had to make a second trip to the local craft store to buy more plastic beads. Does the job, not ideal for travel on planes as you might need to opt to take it empty and fill with whatever you can find at destination

Just what I was looking for.

Perfect for telephoto shot with a heavy lens off a car door. It takes 3lbs of pinto beans to fill it. The price was fantastic, about $25 delivered.

This beanbag is the perfect size to hang over an open car window in order to stabilize the camera when shooting from your car. Five pounds of dried pinto beans filled it perfectly.

I found that a little larger would be nice but it was still useful. Will likely invest in the larger support even though the reviews for the larger bag said that smaller would be nice. Learning curve...shut the car off when using D850 and 500pf on it. Filled with ziplock bags of bird feed.

Perfect!

This product is sturdy, well designed & well built. I stuffed 2 zip-loc bags with plastic pellets into each side of this beanbag. I use it all the time, even when my camera is just on a shelf or table. It is long enough to support a body + a long lens. Keeps the camera from rolling over if it is belted down.

No problem getting down again. Filled with Nyger seed, this support conforms to almost any shape lens for solid support to say nothing about keeping your precious glass off of the ground.

question

What is the best size LensCoat LensSack beanbag for use with a Nikon 200-500mm lens: Junior or full size?
Asked by: John
I watched a video on this and the smaller bag seems to be the right size for that lens. LensCoat has the video. And Id think if youre shopping for bean bag supports, youd know this isnt a bag or case...lol
