I did not anticipate the capacity of this thing and had to make a second trip to the local craft store to buy more plastic beads. Does the job, not ideal for travel on planes as you might need to opt to take it empty and fill with whatever you can find at destination

I found that a little larger would be nice but it was still useful. Will likely invest in the larger support even though the reviews for the larger bag said that smaller would be nice. Learning curve...shut the car off when using D850 and 500pf on it. Filled with ziplock bags of bird feed.

Mice trashed my much larger and bulkier beanbag and I found this smaller more portable replacement. This one works great folded over the car window. The rubbery, textured bottom clings to the window and door better than my previous one. The Junior is larger enough for my Olympus E-M1 MkIII with the

Works with even my Sony a1 and 200-600. it keeps everything secure on my center console. Also makes a great right arm rest! I filled mine with sunflower hearts (seeds). The sticky rubber on the bottom of the pad really helps keep it from moving. Works well over the window as a lens rest. I definitely did NOT need the larger size.

question

What is the best size LensCoat LensSack beanbag for use with a Nikon 200-500mm lens: Junior or full size?
Asked by: John
I watched a video on this and the smaller bag seems to be the right size for that lens. LensCoat has the video. And Id think if youre shopping for bean bag supports, youd know this isnt a bag or case...lol
