Manfrotto Micro Friction Arm Reviews
Extend your tripod

This tiny articulating arm is great for mounting small view monitors to my tripod's Easy Link sockets. This takes the strain off the camera's cold shoe, and really helps when the camera is positioned high, but my operator needs a view from below. Sometimes it can be challenging to find a configuration with the three gimbals that's out of the way.

Excellent build quality, compact and very handy. These Manfrotto arms are simply excellent. And they hold a lot of weight for their size. For my money these perform better than the Noga arms.

question
the photo shows 1/4 -20 studs installed on both ends, plus a loose 3/8 -16 stud. But, the description says one 1/4 -20 stud and one 3/8 -16 stud. Which is correct?
The arm comes with two 1/4 fittings on it. The extra part is the 3/8 adapter, which you screw onto one end and attach to the tripod. I have the arm holding a 7 monitor and its works great. You tighten the clamp and it stays.
