Ok but expensive

So I bought a 1,000ft reel of Camplex fiber and it came with 2 of these. One broke just taking the protective cap off the first time, so rush ordered this replacement and took a few months to arrive. I guess the replacement is ok and working, but I found out you can essentially get the longer dual cable from Camplex and just remove the bracket giving you two 3.28 ft cables for only 2x the price of this one.
