I bought this plate to be used universally. It fits wonderfully on by back up, Canon 5D Mklll camera body with BG-E11. I chose this Arca Swiss plate over the Kirk plate (also a VERY good plate) because of the rubber surface. Fits very snuggly and is an obvious good fit for my Arca Swiss D4 Geared Head.
