I have an Oben AC-1441 tripod with the BA-111 head. I like the tripod and quick release head, but I wish its camera adaptor (RP-10) weren't so deep. I like to keep it on my camera full-time and would prefer something a bit thinner so my camera can sit flat on a table. Would an Arca-Swiss camera adaptor be compatible?
Sorry but the Oben BA-111 head uses a proprietary quick release plate. It is not Arca-Swiss style.

is this compatible with 1dx canon camera?
The bracket base may be to big for the normal swiss base. I use the Custom Bracket QRA Arca-Swiss style tripod Quick Release preserver camera plate B&H # CUQRA MFR # QRA . It's picture is different it has a nice round knob.
