The KanexPro 4K UHD HDBaseT-Lite 230' HDMI Extender is an Ultra HD-compatible transmitter and receiver set that lets you extend HDMI signals over cost-effective Cat 5e/6 cable. Using HDBaseT technology, the extender lets you transmit video at distances up to 230 feet using a single Cat 6 cable, and Ultra HD video up to 49'. It also supports computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, 1080p60 video with Deep Color, and is fully HDCP and EDID compliant. In addition to video and digital audio signals, the extender can also carry bi-directional infrared (IR) and RS-232 signals between the transmitter and receiver for device control, as well as Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) so both units can be powered using the included locking power supply. For convenient install, both the transmitter and receiver include detachable mounting ears.

Note: Kanex recommends using a metal STP connector for RJ-45. The shielded layer of cable must be connected to the connector's metal shell for zero EMI noise and optimal transmission.
