It also supports computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, 1080p60 video with Deep Color, and is fully HDCP and EDID compliant. In addition to video and digital audio signals, the extender can also carry bi-directional infrared (IR) and RS-232 signals between the transmitter and receiver for device control, as well as Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) so both units can be powered using the included locking power supply. For convenient install, both the transmitter and receiver include detachable mounting ears.
