What is the height of this bag? Is it 10" or more? I want to put a Nikon D7500 with Sigma 100-400 lens attached and vertically in the bag, but this combo is 10".
Asked by: Carole
I measured with a tape and it is 9 inches deep on the interior. You might get another half inch because the lid is cupped a little but not 10 inches.

question

I wonder if this bag can hold my Canon 7D with battery pack (gripped), the Canon EF 24-105 attached and the Canon 70-200 f/2.8 II
Asked by: Hector
Hi, you may have to remove the battery pack/grip to fit the 7D into this bag and close the cover. I carry my Canon 5D IV with a 24-70 f2.8L attached. A 70-200 f4L IS and 430EX flash inside the bag. Hope this info helps.

Does it have a trolley strap so that it can be attached to a hand luggage handle?
Asked by: Anonymous
Not per se but the strap over the top fits over a trolly handle and holds it over the luggage bag.

question

How difficult is it to take out the camera from the zipper at the top? That is the only reason I want to get this shoulder bag, for easy access to the camera. One reviewer seems to have a problem with it being too small. I have a Canon 80d.
Asked by: jowlong
I suspect others would find, as I do, that removing a camera through the zippered opening in the top of this shoulder bag is difficult. One side of the opening has a stiff plastic insert that keeps the top from deforming enough to allow the camera to pass easily. With the camera already out of the bag, reaching in through the top opening to get a lens or accessories is easy enough, however. This is an otherwise fine bag with rugged construction, excellent padding and good layout.

question

will it hold a canon 5dll with a 70-200 attached plus a battery grip ?.
Asked by: eugene t.
I own a Canon 5DIII and it will hold the camera with a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 attached, without a lens hood and even then just barely being able to zip it closed. I honestly don't believe it would fit with a battery grip and 70-200mm lens.

question

Does the Ipad Air 2 fit easily into the padded front pocket?
Asked by: Rob
I disagree with Heather. My SH 180 front pocket holds mine without issue. If I over stuff the bag the bag will curve at the front making it difficult or unsafe to fit the iPad air 2 into it but under normal load, Canon 5Diii with 24-105mm attached, 70-200mm lens on one side and either speedlite (600ex) or a couple of small lenses ie 50mm / extension tubes (stacked on on the other) the ipad air fits nicely into my front pocket. I use the tactical pouch for extra batteries and other small items that normally go in the front pocket when not carrying the iPad air. In fact, I currently have my bag loaded this exact way.
