Unfortunately newer Amplifiers (and Receiver Amplifiers) no longer offer the ability to connect a separate Equalizer like the older models. The current models no longer provide Input / Output ports for Equalizers.

The Marantz MM7025 provides power only, and would be paired with a preamplifier, which would have inputs for your components and equalization adjustments. The Marantz AV7706 11.2-Channel Network Preamplifier with HEOS, BH #MAAV7706 is an example of a preamp that would work well with this power amplifier.

I don't have an equalizer so I am not sure.
I would thinks that an equalizer could be an output device from an amplifier and then connect via RCA to the MM7025.
I would call a stereo store that sells Marantz and they would likely know immediately.

No, you will be able to drive just one pair of the 701s with this amp, and there are no sub outs.
