good quality but the 6x6' has a seam

good quality. using the 6x6' grid cloth 1/2 stop diffusion version to drape over a cstand. there is a seam but for my use case, the seam is early in the fabric, maybe 6inches in, so i jus tuck that portion behind the c stand arm. packs away easily. seems durable for indoors

No, the Westcott Scrim Jim Cine 1/2-Stop Grid Cloth Diffuser Fabric (4 x 4') is not compatible with the original Scrim Jim.

The frame has velcro along its edges that stick to velcro along the edges of the diffuser. it is very secure.

Grid cloth diffuses the light while making it more directional versus standard diffusion which simply spreads the light as needed.

If I have the 8X8 frames- can I use this to build a 4X4 diffuser? I know there have been issues with diffuser sizes matching frame sizes. Wondered if anyone had done this?
