No. I created a frame with (1 inch) PVC Pipes and L Joints. Works well. Solid fabric.

Curious when is grid cloth better than plain cloth? Understand the difference but seeking the why. Thanks.
Grid cloth diffuses the light while making it more directional versus standard diffusion which simply spreads the light as needed.
