The B150M-A D3 Motherboard from ASUS is designed to fit in cases that support a Micro ATX form factor. The 9.2 x 7.9" B150M-A D3 supports 6th Generation (Skylake) Intel Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium, and Celeron processors, the LGA1151 socket, as well as the Intel B150 chipset. This motherboard supports Windows 10 (64-bit), 8.1 (64-bit), and 7 (64 and 32-bit).
The Micro ATX form factor of the B150M-A D3 has 4 x DIMM slots that can support up to 64GB of non-ECC unbuffered DDR3 RAM, as well as Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules. The supported memory speeds are DDR3 1866 (OC), 1600, and 1333 MHz memory modules. The B150M-A D3 has a total of 6 x SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 slot (running at x16), 2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 slots, 6 x USB 3.0/2.0 ports (4 ports on the back panel), 6 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports (2 ports on the back panel, 4 at mid-board), and 2 x PS/2 ports. Using the Realtek ALC887 codec, it can support 8-channel HD audio.
The B150M-A D3 has integrated Intel HD graphics support with 1 x HDMI port, 1 x DVI-D port, and 1 x VGA port. It can use up to 1,024MB of shared memory and also simultaneously supports three displays. Its HDMI port can support maximum resolutions of 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz and 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz, while both its DVI-D and VGA port can support a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz.
The B150M-A D3 has also been designed with electrostatic discharge (ESD) guards, LAN guard, overvoltage protection, DRAM overcurrent protection, DIGI+ VRM, a stainless-steel backplate, device compatibility for over 1,000 devices, UEFI BIOS, over 7,000 hours of testing, Fan Xpert 2+, AI Suite 3, and more. This motherboard is protected by a limited 3-year warranty and includes an I/O shield and 2 x SATA III 6 Gb/s cables.
