The Sliding Arm Support with Hand Grip from Impact fits the Impact LSP-SCS Column Stand, as well as most column stands with a 1.4-inch diameter. It features a spring-loaded pistol grip handle for easy height adjustment and the strength to hold fixtures weighing up to 17.6 pounds. It has solid gripping power that won't slip under the weight of a light fixture. The included 5/8" reversible baby pin stud provides the option to mount fixtures with 5/8" receivers either above or below the arm. The stud's 1/4"-20 tip allows the use of standard accessories like ball heads, LED lights, or microphones that can turn your column stand into a complete camera or lighting rig.

Unfortunately, no, the Impact Sliding Arm Support with Hand Grip is not compatible for use with the Impact Deluxe Varipole Support System. It is only compatible for use with the Impact Column Stand. The Impact Column Stand has a uniform tubing diameter of 1.38” (35mm), while the Autopoles and Varipoles have a larger tubing diameter of (bottom) 1.77” (45.4mm) & (top) - 1.58” (40mm). They are not compatible or interchangeable with one another.
