The buckwheat-filled, 4.2L, black SafariSack Beanbag from Kinesis Photo Gear is designed to provide a soft support for your camera. Buckwheat hull filler is included in the SafariSack, although it can be removed from the zippered compartment and replaced with rice or other fill. The bottom of the beanbag has a rubberized-style fabric that keeps the sack in place when put on a vehicle or other slick surface. The SafariSack can be used as a flat support, saddlebag style, or as a tripod ballast.

In theory, allowing them out of their original plastic packaging would likely allow the buckwheat hulls to shift freely in Kinesis Safarisack 4.2 to conform to some surfaces better, but in practice, we have found that there are sometimes advantages to keeping them in their packaging.
