It says it supports 62lbs is this missing a decimal point? Serious question - it would be great if this did in fact support heavy lights.
Asked by: Adam
These are very heavy duty and can easily support the weight as long as the stand can. I have used them with studio monolights, LED panels, as well as the more typical use of speedlights.

question

will this work on Paul Buff LS-3900 light stands?
Asked by: Robert
Since the connection on the LS-3900 is specified as a standard 1/4-20 stud and the Varos Pro M comes with a double-ended female adapter for both standard lighting threads, yes it will work.

question

Is the cold shoe simply screwed in to a 1/4 spigot? Can the cold shoe be removed and replaced with a different cold shoe of my choice?
Asked by: Jon-Mark
Yes. It is in a standard 5/8 spigot. Very handy for off camera flash.
