I needed to put an Arca-Swiss mount on my monopod and needed a connector that would fit. This is machined very well and fits my needs. It can be used with any 3/8-16 fastener to mount on a 1/4-20 piece.

Does the job

I used these to mount my SeeStar telescope on a regular tripod. It worked without any issue.

Please. Will this fit under a ronin s battery grip and base hook
Asked by: Ikechukwu
Yes, the Ronin S has a 3/8 16 screw hole at the base of the handle. The Oben 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing (5-Pack) would convert it to the smaller 1/4 20 size.

How long is this?

without going to get it. I can say is is around a quarter inch long or thereabouts. If you need it shorter, thread it on a 1/4 inch thread and use a flat file to take it down.

question

How sturdy are these bushings? I want to use this on a quick-release adapter that only has 3/8 on the center hole, but uncertain if this will be weaker than connecting to a native 1/4 hole (but which is off-center).
Asked by: Jeff S.
I have been using since May 2016, no problems.

question

I have been trying for a year now to get this adapter to permanently stay on my tripod- I've tried all kinds of glue, the adapter will stay on for a little while, then it will unscrew inside either my slider or tripod head and when it does that so that it is no longer attached to my tripod legs. Any suggestions on what to use to get it to permanantly stay on the 3/8 -16 thread?
Asked by: Ashley
Fortunately for me the adapter fits very snug. Sounds like a possible issue with the item you are screwing this into? The adapter is metal does not give in and of itself.

question

Does this thread adapter have a lip or wider top diameter that stops it from screwing in, or will it get lost in a female thread if it screws down too far?
Asked by: george
This thread adapter has a wider top to stop it at a certain distance. If you thread this too much you can still remove by placing a screw in the openings of the top diameter.
