How much smaller is the focal plane of this lens on a crop sensor camera than it is on a full frame camera?
A 50mm lens on a Canon crop sensor camera would be roughly equal to using an 80mm lens if you are comparing it to 35mm film or a full frame sensor camera. It does not matter if it is a Lensbaby 50mm or a Canon 50mm or a Canon 18-55mm set to the 50mm range. They will all have the same focal length.

He Composer ZII is for EOS Canons. Because the M3 has a smaller sensor like most mirror less cameras, if the mount does fir the camera, you will likely not get the effects produced by the Lens baby system.

The Edge 50 Optic comes with a front cap and the Composer Pro II comes with a rear cap.

I have the composer pro ii in both canon and fuji mounts, and in both the lens is very hard to tilt even with the ring loosened. is this normal?
Hi Christie. I just tested my composer pro II to see if i had the same problem - And i don't! What i did noticed though, is that the ring has an opposite logic when tightening and loosening, so have you tried max it the other way? Can you move it when the ring is approx. in the middle? In my opinion you should be able to, without being worried about breaking something.Hope you find a solution :)
