Does this Lencoat cover include a cover for the lens hood?

Yes, this Lencoat cover does includes a lens hood cover for the Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 ED VR Lens, just as the product image shows. I do use the barrel cover on when within the 500mm range, this minimizes any barrel creeping during overhead exposures.
