ZEISS Mono 4x12 T* Reviews

Excellent

High price, high quality. Excellent optics, well defined image on all field of view, very brilliant image. Its low power, just 4X, is OK for reading distant small letter signs or observing a nearby bird. Perfect for looking at detail in pictures in a museum as it can focus at short distances. It can focus at 8 inches so it is also a powerful magnifier for observing insects or very small pieces. To focus, you need both hands as it does so by push pull, not by turning, but it is easy to do. Its small size, just 2.5 inch length, and very light weight make it very portable hanged with its neckstrap.

Attach this to your camera strap or key chain. Take to the museum and examine items up close. Look at the birds and flowers in the park. So useful while traveling or just walking around Manhattan. The clarity and sharpness are comparable to the best monoculars from Zeiss and Swarvoski.
