The Shure BLX14/PGA31 brings presenters, instructors, clergy, multi-instrumentalists, and live performers a cost-effective wireless headset microphone system with quality sound, simple setup, intuitive operation, and dependable performance right out of the box. It includes the compact and lightweight BLX4 single-channel tabletop receiver with internal antennas, ideal for portable use.

The BLX14/PGA31 also includes a PGA31 cardioid headset mic with windscreen and a bodypack transmitter. The headset's wearable design offers both comfort and a secure fit for hands-free operation. The receiver features one-touch QuickScan frequency selection to quickly search 123 available frequencies and locate a clean RF channel in case of interference. The system provides up to 14 hours of continuous use with two AA batteries, at a range up to 300'. Up to 12 mic channels can operate simultaneously in each frequency band.

This streamlined system is well suited for speech and vocal performance in small music venues, wedding halls, and houses of worship, as well as conference, educational, and corporate facilities.

Comfortable Headset Mic Optimized for Speech and Vocals
The PGA31 headset condenser microphone is built for comfort and clear vocal reproduction. It features a cardioid polar pattern that helps reject unwanted noise, and a tailored frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility. The flexible gooseneck design with discrete adjustment options let you position the microphone for further source isolation in loud environments.
Lightweight Bodypack Transmitter
The durable BLX1 bodypack transmitter offers a lightweight, ergonomic design that is comfortable for the presenter to wear. Group and channel selection buttons allow for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver. Other features include an easily accessible on/off switch, adjustable gain control, and a TA4M 4-pin input jack.
Easy-to-Use Tabletop Receiver for Quality Audio
The BLX4 receiver employs microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity to improve the quality and reliability of your wireless audio. An LED display shows group and channel settings, while two LED lights indicate when the system is ready for use and the strength of the incoming audio signal. The unit offers 1/4" and XLR outputs for connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.

The order was correct, and the units were easy to set up. They worked with little adjustment. So far so good! Initial testing good, we are hoping the same for the kids' performance.

Does this system come with an option to rack mount the receiver?
Asked by: Norman
The Shure BLX14/PGA31 Wireless Cardioid Headset Microphone System (H10: 542 to 572 MHz) is a desktop system. Since the antennas are internal, it is not recommended for installation inside a rack.

Can this be used for both recording and also ...

Can this be used for both recording and also livestream (like for Zoom) if, for example, combined with an audio interface like the Audient EVO 4? We currently use the computer mic for Zoom classes, and we record other content using a Tascam DR-10L (and Nikon D750 for video).
Asked by: Jessica
Yes, you can use the Shure BLX14/PGA31 wireless mic system for recording and livestreaming. The output from the system's wireless receiver can be connected to your computer using an audio interface or connected directly to a camera or recorder in the same manner that you would when connecting a wired mic.

can I add handheld wireless sm58 to this unit?
Asked by: Tomas
You can purchase a Shure BLX2/SM58 Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter with the SM58 Capsule to use with the Shure BLX4 Tabletop Wireless Receiver included with the Shure BLX14/PGA31 Wireless Cardioid Headset Microphone System, instead of the Shure BLX1 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with the Shure PGA31 Headset Microphone. However, only one transmitter can be used at a time with the receiver. If you want to be able to use both transmitters at the same time, you will need the Shure BLX88 Dual-Channel Tabletop Wireless Receiver.
