Add long-lasting V-mount battery support to compatible cameras with this dedicated V-Mount Plate from IndiPRO Tools. It connects to the camera using an LP-E6 dummy battery at the end of a 24" cable and attaches to your rig via a 15mm LWS rod bracket provided on the bottom. When mounted on rods on the back of your rig, it can also function as a counterweight. This plate also features a D-Tap output for powering a 12-16V accessory simultaneously with the camera.

Doesn't come with a notched battery door, not R5C ready.

This just showed up and doesn't work. It' doesn't come with a battery door with a cable pass-through. So, unless you want to cut a notch out of your original one, the camera will not turn on without a door in place. Also, it's kind of big and wonky, and sized for full size v-mount batteries.

I bought one of these a couple of years back at NAB for my Canon 5D MII. Its made well and works great. Not only can I power my 5D, with the d-tap on the plate I can power my Newz light from Zylight.

Yes, the Canon R6 and R5 use LP-E6NH batteries and this plate has a built in LP-series dummy battery.

i was wondering if theres a screw / hole at the back of this unit for a clamp? (only front photo shown here at B&H) ..currently i dont have budget for 15mm rods and base plate attachments etc) and my priority for now is to clamp this on the tripod. Thanks in advance :)
