Key Features
- For Canon EF Cameras and Lenses
- Increases Magnification Ratio
- Bellows Extension: 1.6-5.9"
- Rack and Pinion Gear, Locking Thumbscrew
Well-suited for extreme close-up shooting, this Macro Bellows from Fotodiox is designed for Canon EF-mount cameras and lenses. This bellows has an adjustable 1.6-5.9" extension range, and is used to increase a lens's maximum magnification up to 8:1 for macro applications. A rack and pinion gear is used for smoothly adjusting the extension amount and a printed scale in millimeters helps to ensure consistent, repeatable settings. An integrated thumbscrew also lets you lock your position in place and suits working with heavier equipment or when shooting at a steep angle. The bellows frame is constructed from anodized aluminum-alloy and there is also an integrated 1/4"-20 socket for attaching directly to a tripod or quick release plate.

Hypothetically, could you adjust the rails to turn this into a tilt shift adapter too? Mainly using it at the shortest distance so it doesn't effect infinite focus?
Also is infinity focus effected when the bellows are fully retracted?
It can not be used for tilt shift. It is a macro rail so it can not go to infinity.

question
Hi. does this work with a Canon 6D since the EF mount seems to be a little different contact setup than on older full frame cams?
All Canon EOS cameras released since 1987, whether 35mm SLR or DSLR (including the Canon EOS 6D DSLR camera), use the standard Canon EF lens mount with the red dot on the lens mount. The Fotodiox Macro Bellows for Canon EF Mount Camera Systems would be compatible for use with the Canon EOS 6D DSLR camera. Do note that the bellow has no electrical contact, so you will have to set your camera in manual focusing and manual exposure, or aperture priority mode for metering.

Looking to explore more macro photography and not ready to purchase a dedicated macro lens. Can this Bellows be used with regular and telephoto zoom lens such as the Canon 100-400 and the sigma 18-250 as well as the Canon wide 10-18? The Sigma does have a macro listing with a min distance of1.16ft
This will work with your 18-250 and 10-18 but the 100-400 is too big and heavy.

What's the maximum useable lens diameter? Everything I own takes a 77 mm filter.
The diameter has no bearing, the lens mounts to the bellows via the rear mount.

Can I use this with a 100mm canon macro lens to copy slides
It seems like the right length for the 100mm macro depending on your set-up. You might need a short extension tube also.
