Excellent monitor mount solution
Easy to attach to a monitor and to any stand no matter what the stand adapter is. I got mine with the tilt adapter for increased mobility options.
Lightweight but study.
This low profile mount lets me safely attach my monitor to a 5/8 baby stand. I can easily close the monitor case with it installed.
For the price, it's fine.
This will fit most monitors. The punch holes will line up, but the metal bracket extending out is too big to fit my NEC, but works just fine with both my LG's and my Dell monitor. Also, the 5/8 receiver isn't very deep, so when you tighten it down onto a baby pin, or a C-Stand, it will tighten down onto the transition part, not the textured recessed area of the pin, thus your monitor will be crooked. I use a C-Stand knuckle and a baby pin to articulate out the crookedness. This will probably work just fine using a normal brass stud. Not perfect, but these VESA mounts are criminally expensive, and while imperfect, is good enough for govt. work. Not bad, not great, solidly OK.
Works well
I'm using a nice 32 LG computer monitor as a client monitor and it works perfect as a lightweight compact way to do the job.
Sturdy
It's a simple all metal design. I have it attached to an Atomos Sumo monitor/recorder and I really like it. When hung up on a C-stand the distance from the pole is very to the back of the screen is very short, which I like! So it's pretty much as small as it can be so it takes less space in a case.
Worth it.
The depth in this 9.Solutions VESA mount is as minimal as it can get, and for that, I absolutely love it. Worth the money. The ones Ive been buying for the past decade have a 2 pin in the back that have to go into a receiver on the C-stand, which all pretty much adds up to the same overall cost. The benefit of this low-profile, minimal depth mount are: 1) easy to pack any monitor with it in a flight case (easier mobility), 2) its inherently mounted on a stand at a perpendicular angle, and if thats not what I want, its easy to mount to the C-stand receiver tools that I would have been using anyway for the alternative mounts that I have (with the long pin in the back), then moveable in any direction of my choosing, 3) its sturdy and well-made, even, something few would likely notice, the provided M5 screws are high-end. For most monitors, this is an easy screw on and done deal... but, there are some monitors with recessed VESA mounting screw areas which will need a couple of smartly sized washers to provide stability beyond the recessed space and might need longer non-high-end M5 screws that only cost a couple of bucks. If I could trade in all my VESA mounts so that theyd all be this 9.Solutions VESA mount, I would do it in a heartbeat. Im that impressed, and have no hesitation in making this recommendation to others.
fits some monitors
only works on one of my monitors. one where the back is flat. this is too wide to work on some monitors that are recessed where the vesa mount is. other mounts work fine for me. disappointing considering the price.
Fine
It fits and feels strong. Holds a SmallHD 24 which is very heavy. The thumbscrew arrived a little wonky and doesn't tighten or loosen well.
