good design, poor implimenation

I've purchased 6 of these in both the large and small sizes.The overall concept/desing is good, but the actual implementation is poor. 1. the 5/8 hole is not deep enough to properly secure to stand, so there is always slop and the mount always tilts down. 2. the knob for securing the mount to the stand is both too small and should be made of stainless steel. Currently when you tighten the knob to try and tighten the connection it just crushes the end of the bolt/stud destroying the threads at the end making it impossible to untighten. I've had to force remove, re-thread and replace all of the knobs on every mount. As they are currently built I would not recommend or purchase again.

Best Vesa mount for large monitors. Solid design, but overall it is big so don’t try to use it with small monitors. I’m using it with a 23” monitor but it can support much much larger. I went with this 5/8” receiver type instead of the ones that use a ball head because my monitor would sag. With a 5/8” pin i’m using a grip ehad on a CStand and it is rock solid.
