The ikan Elite Version 2 is a more flexible upgrade to the original Elite prompter, featuring an adjustable/foldable glass frame and quick-release camera platform. Offering universal tablet support, it works with all standard-size tablets ranging from 5 x 7.5 to 8 x 10.5" in size, including all iPads (except the iPad Pro), Android and Windows tablets (except Surface Pro), and Amazon Fire. The Elite V2 is a 15mm rod-based system, equipped with a raised, quick-release camera platform above the rods, and with a tripod-mount platform underneath the rods.

Will this work with a Panasonic AG-UX90/180? Is there any other hardware needed to mount a camera?
The Panasonic AG-UX90/180 should fit fine on this unit. The promoter comes with a quick mount release and the sled allows for lateral adjustment.

What’s the difference between this v2 model and the Elite Pro model?
The Ikan Elite Pro supports larger tablet sizes.
The Ikan Elite V2 supports the following sizes of tablets:
Min Dimensions: 7.5 x 5" / 19.1 x 12.7 cm
Max Dimensions: 10.5 x 8" / 26.7 x 20.3 cm
While the Ikan Elite Pro supports these sizes of tablets:
Min Dimensions: 6 x 9" / 15.2 x 22.8 cm
Max Dimensions: 9 x 12" / 22.8 x 30.5 cm

Yes this can go on a tripod just make sure that the tripod can support the weight of the teleprompter, tablet, and your camera. It has both 1/4 and 3/8.

The Telepromter comes with 2 12" rod wich should be sufficient for your sony camera. see the instruction sheet attached "http://ikancorp.com/Downloads/PT-ELITE-v2-QSG.pdf" You can also use two tripods for easy set up and allignment.

You won't be able to get the exact one, but you can definitely apply another quick release system as illustrated under the "quick release" section of the product's "accessories".
