The Nikon DK-17F Fluorine-Coated Finder Eyepiece is not compatible for use with the Nikon F5 35mm Film SLR Camera. Instead, the Nikon Finder Eyepiece 2404, B&H # NIEPF5 • MFR #2404, would be the correct eyepiece for use with the Nikon F5 35mm Film SLR Camera.

While Nikon does not provide a thread size for this eyepiece, it is meant to match up with the eyepoint of 17mm on cameras like the D850.
