I need an additional LP-E4 battery for my 1D Mark III. Will this battery work? Also, can this battery be charged in the original Canon LC-E4 charger?
Yes, the Canon LP-E19 Battery Pack (2700mAh) would be compatible for use in the Canon EOS 1D Mark III DSLR Camera. That being said, the Canon LP-E19 Battery Pack (2700mAh) would not be compatible for use with the Canon LC-E4 Compact Battery Charger. You would have to purchase the Canon LC-E19 Battery Charger, B&H # CALCE4 • MFR # 1895B002, to charge the Canon LP-E19 Battery Pack (2700mAh).

Will the LP-E19 battery work with the R5 or R6 using the battery grip in place of the dual batter tray?
Of course the normal batteries work in it. Nikons single battery for pro bodies works in the full frame body grips thats why I asked. After comparing the end cap to the end cap in the R5/R6 I can see its a different shape.

I do not have the camera in hand yet, but the specs read that the EOS R3 will use the same battery as the EOS 1DX III which I also have. I plan to try the battery once it arrives.

Canon currently lists the current generation of 1D-cameras (1Dx Mk III) as being the only camera compatible with the LP-E19. However, the LP-E4, LP-E4N, and LP-E19 share the same physical dimensions/configuration and likely this battery will be compatible with the 1Ds Mk III, but we currently have no way of confirming.

Unfortunately no, this would have to be repaired or replaced by Canon or an Authorized Canon Repair Facility.
