The Rock Solid 2-Head Cross Bar Side Arm from Tether Tools is designed to be used with the Tether Tools Rock Solid Tripod Cross Bar in order to create a variable height "T" setup. Mounting the side arm to the cross bar permits the user to adjust the height of a mounted camera up to 24" up or down. The side bar features two usable mounting points - one on top and one on the bottom for mid, high, or low-angle photography.

Will this connect directly to a tripod mount where a head would normally go?
Yes, you will need to remove the ball head which will reveal a male 3/8 screw. The Cross Bar Side Arm mounts there.
