The CINEGEARS Compact D-Tap Power Distributor allows you to run power from a D-Tap power source to multiple devices used on your camera rig, such as transmitters and powered lens controls. Palm-sized, it's very compact, hence the name. Via a single D-Tap connector on an integrated cable, it delivers power to four onboard D-Tap outputs, two USB outputs, and a universal 3.5mm AUX power supply barrel connector. The distributor also stabilizes the power current and provides built-in surge protection, allowing for a safe powered workflow. At the press of a button, you can check the power of your D-Tap source via a voltage indicator.
The power output pins on the internal board are gold-plated so they function as better conductors of power. The board is also thicker than standard boards, and the distributor is also resistant to heat, which prevents the melting of the board, ensuring you can work safely without unnecessary interruptions.
The Compact D-Tap Power Distributor is designed to be mounted on your rig. It comes with a hook-and-loop fastener strap that allows you to secure it to various components of your rig, and it also includes a clamp adapter that lets you mount the distributor to 15 and 19mm rods. The clamp adapter screws directly onto the back of the power distributor with included screws.
The USB ports can be used to power select lights and other devicesm, as well as charge your phone or tablet. The 3.5mm AUX port lets you connect various power cables with the power connectors of your choice, such as XLR.
