Nice little bub that helps connect all Philips hue bulbs. I used to use LIFX wifi bulbs but it's so painful to connect wifi bulbs. Philips hue ecosystem is easier to use and more reliable to use!

question

Do I need this if I have latest Apple TV box?
Asked by: Anonymous
If you wanted to use this with other Phillips devices, then yes, you still would need it. The Apple TV has Apple Homekit built in but it acts as a hub for other devices. You still need the original hub to connect to the individual devices.
