The P10S-C/4L LGA 1151 ATX Motherboard from ASUS is an Intel Greenlow platform server board based on the Intel C232 chipset that is designed to fit into cases that support an ATX form factor. The 12.0 x 9.6" P10S-C/4L supports Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5 processors, as well as Intel Core i3, Pentium, and Celeron processors.

The ATX form factor of the P10S-C/4L has four 288-pin DIMM slots that are equipped with 16GB but can support up to 64GB of unregistered non-ECC and ECC memory, as well as dual channel memory architecture. The supported memory speed is 2133 MHz. The P10S-C/4L has a total of 6 x SATA III 6 Gb/s ports and 2 x M.2 (2280/2260/2242) connectors, as well as 1 x PCIe Gen3 x16 slot, 1 x PCIe Gen3 x8 slot, 1 x PCI 32-bit/33 MHz slot, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, and 1 x PS/2 port.

The P10S-C/4L supports Aspeed AST2400 integrated graphics and the on-chip PCIe 2D VGA provides server systems with local display capabilities without adding an extra cost for a VGA add-on card. Network connectivity is achieved using 4 x Intel I210AT Gigabit Ethernet ports and there is also a management LAN port. This motherboard is protected by a limited 3-year warranty.

Dual M.2 Boots I/O Performance & Data Redundancy
In order to bring up better performance or back-up solutions for internal OS drive scenarios, ASUS designed dual M.2 spec on selected server boards. With this design, configuring dual M.2 devices as RAID 0 can boost read performance up to 84% and write performance up to 40% compared to single M.2; moreover, if users require data redundancy of their OS drive, RAID 1 will be a good choice with dual M.2 storage devices
Next-Gen Storage - NVMe Support
Next-Gen Storage technology, NVMe, is where the industry is headed. By taking new NVM technology closer to the CPU with the benefits of less latency and higher maximum bandwidth, an NVMe solution is a fast internal storage interface.

There are two solutions to implementing NVMe applications on P10S series. One is a PCIe interface solution - directly plug the PCIe NVMe devices or go through an ASUS-made PCIe to U.2 adapter (ASUS PCIE-NVME1). The other is an M.2 interface solution - go through an ASUS-made M.2 to U.2 adapter (ASUS M2-NVME1). By using a mini-SAS HD to a mini-SAS HD cable or a mini-SAS HD to an SFF-8639 cable, the ASUS-made PCIe to U.2 or M.2 to U.2 adapters offer flexible NVMe upgrade packages on different usage scenarios
High Power Efficiency with Platinum Power Solution
ASUS P10S-C/4L server board is designed with the platinum power solution with hand-chosen components that provide titanium efficiency which is up to 94%. The platinum power solution consists of three pillars to help achieve the 94% platinum efficiency: 12K Ultra Longevity Solid Capacitor, Beat Thermal Choke III, and Digi+ VRM. There are also 12K solid capacitors which are able to withstand up to 1,200,000 hours of temperatures as high as 149.0°F / 65.0°C (12K hours @ 221.0°F / 105.0°C). The 3rd generation Beat Thermal Choke with lower DCR and result in 37.4°F / 3.0°C lower choke temperatures that help enhance power efficiency. ASUS DIGI+ VRM is a digital VR controller that helps to precisely provide the accurate voltage and currents that CPUs require to reduce switching loss
Quad Intel I210AT Gigabit Ethernet
The ASUS P10S-C/4L ships with quad server-class Intel Ethernet ports with I210 controllers, which doubles queues compared to previous-generation Intel controllers. This is better for virtualization applications and in addition, the quad LAN teaming quadruples the network bandwidth and the failover function helps ensures uninterrupted network connection
Optional PIKE II 3x08 Series SAS 12 Gb/s Solution
ASUS PIKE II 3x08 series is a 12 Gb/s SAS and PCIe 3.0 high reliability enterprise storage solution. It meets users' needs with support for 12 Gb/s SAS storage and various RAID levels of data protection. Installing the PIKE II card, P10S Series can immediately enlarge storage capacity and improve the performance, making it a worthwhile upgrade option
Complete Remote Server Management
The optional IPMI 2.0-compliant ASMB8-iKVM module enables remote BIOS updates, backup and restore configurations, SNMP agent support (MIBs files), audit log, and BIOS post code. With out-of-band management, ASMB8-iKVM provides round-the-clock remote monitoring and diagnosis even if the server operating system is down or offline, and all through a user-friendly web-based graphical interface that works with all major browsers. In addition, ASWM Enterprise software provides one-to-multiple centralized management including BIOS flash, software dispatch, task scheduler, remote control, and power control, all via a colorful and informative graphical interface
