Sigma 89S965 Overview

Works great. I can now use my Sigma SA lenses with my A7iii. My DG and DC lenses (50-100DC, 100-400DG, 18-35DC) worked perfectly with the camera by using this adapter. The camera distinguished between the different glass, automatically cropping the view for the DC lenses. Auto focus worked great too. Lens info is in the EXIF data. The adapter fits nicely with all the lenses, it is not loose at all. The pictures I took are of outstanding quality. I am super glad I purchased this adapter, it is well worth the money.

I bought this after reading the reviews. This fits on the camera body. My sigma lenses will not fit. Over the past few months we have tried several times with different Sigma lenses. Camera store could not get their lenses to fit either.

I bought this adapter( mc 11 SA adapter to sony e) just two weeks ago from this(B & H) online shop. But it is not getting mounted on with sigma 18-35mm lens. I am really upset with this unexpected situation . Please someone help me to solve this problem . I would really be grateful . Thank you.

This allows me to use my Sigma SA mount lenses with Sony mirrorless. I think that I'll appreciate more in the future that its firmware can be updated with the Sigma dock.

I needed a solution for re-using my Sigma SA glass on a video capable body (Sony E mount System). This adapter did the job perfectly (just be aware older glass may not work).

Unfortunately, until Sigma made an announcement, we wouldnt know what they might be working on. That being said, its been several years since the first Auto Canon adapters hit the market, and I dont know of any Nikon auto adapters that have been released in that time.

No. This is only for Sigma lenses with the Sigma SA-mount. The Sigma SA-mount was a proprietary mount used for Sigma cameras such as the SD quattro.

No - the MC-11 is only available for Sigma EF - Sony E, or Sigma SA - Sony E.

Check with the sigma website, it provides a list of cameras and lens supported by the MC-11. I do not see see that lens in the ones supported. This adapter only supports lenses with the SA mount.

No it is not. The MC-11 adapts certain lenses to Sony E mount. I purchased te MC-11 that adapts Canon to Sony E. The LA-EA3 or 4 adapt Sony A to Sony E.
