It works well on Sony a7rv with Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L Tilt-Shift Lens.

Works a treat with my Canon 100-400 on an a7CR

Reviews are quite mixed, but I could find few indicating using this adapter with Canon's EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L II. I took a chance, made the purchase, and couldn't be happier with the result. AF is not instant, but acceptably quick. One can use both the lense's IS and Sony's OSS, but I can't say if the combination is better than OSS alone. I nearly always use a tripod, so that's not a big deal for me. Overall I'm quite happy with this adapter/lens combination.

Is a Nikon version in the works?
Asked by: Brian
Unfortunately, until Sigma made an announcement, we wouldnt know what they might be working on. That being said, its been several years since the first Auto Canon adapters hit the market, and I dont know of any Nikon auto adapters that have been released in that time.

No. This is only for Sigma lenses with the Sigma SA-mount. The Sigma SA-mount was a proprietary mount used for Sigma cameras such as the SD quattro.

Check with the sigma website, it provides a list of cameras and lens supported by the MC-11. I do not see see that lens in the ones supported. This adapter only supports lenses with the SA mount.

question

Is the Sigma SA mount the exact same thing as the Sony A-mount?
Asked by: Wayne
No it is not. The MC-11 adapts certain lenses to Sony E mount. I purchased te MC-11 that adapts Canon to Sony E. The LA-EA3 or 4 adapt Sony A to Sony E.

Is there any magnification when using the MC-11, a Sony A7III (full frame), and a Canon EF 100m f2.8 IS USM L in the macro mode? Thanks!
Asked by: Charles
Nope. And you will need to turn off the IS on the lens otherwise it won't work on the Sony.
