Yes, Vinyl is a great choice to handle chemistry. Recommended storage is about 65F in dark cool places. And we suggest delta storage for storage.

What safety precautions are required for this kit please?
The ammonium dichromate should be kept away from heat and any other chemicals except as indicated in the instructions to this kit. We would also recommend using rubber or nitrile gloves and not touching it. Adequate ventilation is also always a good idea when dealing with chemicals.
