Bring all of your Canon TTL flashes into the Nissin Air System with 2.4 GHz radio transmission by mounting them to the Air R Receiver. Using an Air 1 Commander for the Canon E-TTL / E-TTL II system and the Air R Receiver, photographers can now set up and control numerous flashes in an off-camera setup at distances up to 98'. The receivers add wireless slave TTL functionality with support for high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, manual power control, and manual zoom, with the ability to select between 8 channels and organize 3 groups.

Connecting to a TTL flash is simple as the receiver has a hot shoe on the top for communication. For strobes and manual flashes, the Air R also has a PC sync terminal for basic connections. Mounting the receiver is simple as well with a cold foot on the bottom with a 1/4"-20 thread for stands. There is also a flip-out stand for placing directly on a flat surface. Additionally, it runs on 2 AAA batteries.

Air R Receiver for Canon Flashes is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive and competitive wireless receiver for Canon Although it looks all plastic, the receiver has some intelligence with communication to the Nissin Air 1 commander, and puts the Canon 6D in the game. More expensive native flashes and wireless (radio) triggers are available, but at twice or more the cost. Yes, I would purchase (and did) for other cameras and flashes to be used as standalone and separately controlled speed-lights with the master controller (Air 1). Note: I have not compared to the other Canon camera models for similar compatibility of features, but this receiver is a quality product at an inexpensive price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly for my Off Camera Flashes for Canon T4i I needed an Air-R with the Air 1 with the Nissin Di700A. I used it so I could have my older Canon 430 EX II as well as the Nissan new flash off camera. Very satisfied with the early results using my Canon T4i. A low cost solution to help get more professional results. I tried an alternate brand and returned it for quality issues. Fairly simple to set up. Included are quick manual sheets. Their is a manual you can download. Also lots of Youtube videos. Very pleased with the results. Generally use the Air R to trigger the Canon 430 as fill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product Easy to use, gives me radio transmission capability for my Canon 5d Mark III using my existing 430ex II and a Canon compatible TTL flash. Easy to set up, works perfectly in either TTL or manual flash mode. Gives me capability I would have paid $1200 for if I purchased Canon rat flashes and transmitter at a small fraction of the cost.
