The XP106 utilizes a sealed lead-acid gel cell battery. There is a panel on the back of the PA that can be removed if the system requires servicing or to replace the battery.

We did mount ours on a stand and it helped a lot. there are a lot of stand out there that will work. I made sure that we bought one that was heavy duty . You'll never be sorry for doing that!

I am planning on buying 2 of these systems, is there a chance of cross-talk between them with having fixed frequencies?
This system can operate up to two wireless systems simultaneously in the same area.
Since this kit already includes two wireless systems (A handheld and a lavalier), adding a third wireless, will NOT be possible.
