I am new to this. How can I tell which side I should expose for the picture? I keep guessing wrong and getting black pictures.
Asked by: Nichol
If you develop with grippy gloves, like nitrile gloves, the side of the paper that catches more when you slide your finger across is the coated side. If you use a safelight, the coated side has a bit more shine to it.

question

The description says it compatible with magenta and yellow filters, 0-5...so does that mean its not compatible with 00?
Asked by: Thomas W.
I have used this paper successfully with ilford and Kodak variable contrast filters, but these do not have 00 grade. This is a relatively low contrast paper. A zero filter gives quite little contrast. 00 may not be necessary.
