Manfrotto MB MBAG75PN overview

  • 1Description

Store and protect a tripod, monopod or a few lightstands with the black MBAG75PN Tripod Bag Padded 75cm from Manfrotto. This ballistic nylon bag is designed to carry a select Manfrotto tripod with a head up to 29.5" long. Thermoform padding holds the tripod in place and protects it – especially the head, during transport. It also serves a double purpose by protecting the tripod's hard edges when carried. The zipper extends down the length of the bag, but also fully opens the top end of the bag. The end opening allows for faster "quiver" style extraction and insertion of the tripod. The bag is tapered to follow the shape of the tripod and head.

Intelligently designed, the tripod legs fit in the narrower end of the bag. This arrangement allocates additional room on the wide end for accommodating your tripod head. Carry or wear the bag with the included, wide shoulder strap. A small fabric loop on the unpadded end of the bag is useful for hanging the bag from a hook. To combat occasional precipitation, your MBAG75PN bag has an external water-repellent coating.

Constructed of ballistic nylon exterior, thermoform padded interior, with a full-length zipper.
Tapered shape allows you to store the tripod with the head attached. Tripod legs fit comfortably in the narrower end and extra space is allowed for the larger volume of the head at the wider end. This also means it is easier to put the tripod and head in the bag, even if the head levers and knobs are fitted and jut out slightly
Zipper extends down the length of the bag, but also fully opens the top end of the bag, making it easier to get your tripod in and out, as well as being able to extract the tripod quickly
Thermoform padding holds the tripod in place and protects it, especially the head, during transport. It serves a double purpose by protecting the tripod's hard edges when carrying
Bag is slightly tapered to provide a better fit for a tripod with the head attached. The wider end of the bag accommodates the head without requiring all levers to be removed
Shoulder strap for easy carry
Compatible with Manfrotto tripod with head up to 29.5" long

    Manfrotto MB MBAG75PN reviews

MBAG75PN Tripod Bag Padded 75cm (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Quality Bag I needed a tripod bag that would fit my tripod with a ball head or video head attached. I wanted something that was quality, had good looks, and protected my items. I have only one complaint. There is no inside or outside pockets for small tools, misc items, or notepads, etc. This bag is thick, made well and I'm pleased but I would have liked some accessory pockets. This bag is not cheap but well worth the extra bucks. I still recommend it but I'm trying to figure out how to carry the accessories without them falling out--maybe use some velcro to attach but a shame a classy bag doesn't have the pockets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Bag, Except No Pocket(s) It is a very nice bag with good padding. My 24 folded Manfrotto 190CXPro3 tripod (with added, accessory suction cup/spiked feet) with my attached 3.94 head fits. I would not put in anything longer. The bag, For some reason does not have any pockets which is a minor shortcoming in my view. I need something to hold an Allen wrench, a screw driver for the accessory feet, and the original feet (I bought my tripod used and it did not have the leg key too tighten the legs.) I just threw a pouch in to hold whatever I want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight yet heavy duty The MBAG75PN tripod carrier has been a huge help for me, a freelance videographer. Im always on the go, lugging my Manfrotto tripod and monopod with me at all times. This lightweight bag has enabled me to carry my monopod in a separate case for on-the-fly shoots requiring a smaller set-up. The roomy inner compartment allows me to stuff my light kits reflector-holder arm into the bag as well, so I can make sure I have all of my long, bulky items protected from damage. Its made of the same high-quality durable materials as my tripods Manfrotto carrier, so I know it will hold up to wear and tear with no problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good... A little to hard to close when loaded... it needs a very specific angle of the tripod... so takes time... I suppose easiness will come with practice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it - but no inner pocket :( I needed a protective bag for my tripod and ball head, and this bag is nearly perfect. It appears very well made, zipper allows easy access to the equipment and it is easy to carry. However,... The Manfrotto website explicitly says that this bag has an inner pocket, and that is not true. They may have changed the design, but I would have liked to store the wrenches and extras that are needed for the tripod and the head. So, only four stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for tripod... comfortable and resistant! Excellent bag for my Manfrotto MK290XTA3-3WUS 290 Xtra Aluminum Tripod with 804 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head. More comfortable than shoulder carrying bag Included. Well made, good material and resistant. My work is Light Painting Photograpy and night photography so I use it every time. It's great way to carry my tripod in trips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good camera on a tripod bag I use this to carry around my dslr while it's already mounted on a tripod so I don't have to re-assemble during a landscape shoot. This bag works well for this; especially the wider opening at one end. My only criticism is that it would be nice if the zipper could unzip more smoothly, but's it's not too bad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Right Sized I had bought the MBAG90PN, which is way too big for standard tripods, but it also has an internal storage pocket and a second handle on zipper side of bag. I would like to see that pocket and second handle on this bag too. I found both very convenient. Otherwise, well made and easy to use.
