When connected to a 2A USB battery pack or an AC adapter, the ONsite Relay can still be able to provide a constant supply of power to your camera, and thanks to the internal battery the system will support hot swapping of external power sources. An LED indicator light will shift from green to yellow to red to show battery percentage so that you will not accidentally lose power during a long time lapse or video production.

When I have my camera in its cage with a full rig, it is really nice to not have to change camera batteries. I can shoot all day on one good power bank.

Small But Powerful System

Using a RavPower 28600 mAh battery pack I've been able to power my GH5 camera recording 4K 10-bit video for 12.5 hours. My GH5 got fairly warm, but everything worked flawlessly. I may use this system to power the new Blackmagic Pocket Cine Camera 4K by adding a $35 Canon LP-E6 battery adapter to my kit.

The ac adapter that works directly with the Panasonic cameras is the DMW-AC10. CLick the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1051072-REG/panasonic_dmw_ac10_ac_adapter_for.html

question

When camera/coupler/Tether Tool is operating, suggestions of how to keep battery drain from exceeding the simultaneous charging? I have found it will not do both at the same time. Thanks.
Asked by: deborah
Try using the same techniques that you would normally use to conserve battery power without a tether: turn on power saving mode, dim the display light, or use the viewfinder instead of the large display. There may also be an issue with the battery you are using; it may not be able to discharge power fast enough to the tether. Compare the maximum output in amps that your battery is capable of compared to others.
