    Sirui T-025X reviews

T-025X Carbon Fiber Tripod with C-10S Ball Head is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best lightweight option I wanted a decent tripod to carry with me as I walk around taking street photography. It had to be 2 pounds or less and less than 12 inches long when closed, and have a Arca-swiss style head. This is a compromise tripod for sure, note the center column is always up (or taken off, but then you can't reverse fold it). For what it is there is no close competitor. It's strong enough to use for time lapse or long exposure as long as you take some precautions again vibration. I will still carry my RRS tripod for critical work but it will stay in the hotel room most of the day while this little guy will come with me everywhere else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well... I first bought a used one at B&H and it was broken when it arrive... B&H support was easy to comunicate and receptive but it was still long and complicated to get an other one(I reorder a new one). The delivery was initialy free but I end up paying 35$CAD to get the package. Customer service at B&H said they never charge me but whatever I still had to pay and stop fighting for this..... Other than that the peoduct seems to work great. It's really lightweight and small enought to fit inside my Peak Design 20L backpack on the side. Since the used one I receive was broken I don't know about the long term use quality of this tripod for now. Overall satisfy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very light - so use very best tripod techniques. So light! I already have a medium duty tripod, and a larger gitzo tripod with a massive arca-swiss ball head from the 1980s. I wanted a minimalist tripod, light weight and very short, that will work when I use very best practices, and not too high. It fits that role very nicely. There is no leeway for bad photo+tripod practices. One needs to lock up the mirror, and don't even think about using it in wind except possibly with a very wide angle lens. But it is so light it can go anywhere, and with most of my Nikon lenses now with VRII, it becomes the perfect complement for occasional landscape photo use. I would not recommend it as one's prime tripod for a DSLR, however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Want small and light? Buy This! I have several other larger Really Right Stuff Tripods but needed something small, compact and light for backpacking. This tripod is all of those things. For the size and build of it, I am very impressed with it's stability. The ball head does ok too - I put a Nikon D4 on it with a 70-200 and it does not slip at all. I probably wouldn't trust it with my larger 200-400 or 600mm though. After all, it's not designed for that kind of weight. But overall, I am more than impressed with it for the price point and function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best travel tripod I ever had It's extremely lightweight, compact and tall but despite that it's very solid with practically no vibration because I guess it's carbon fiber structure. The ball head is very sturdy and capable of holding the weight suggested in it's manual. I'd highly recommend it to everybody who travels a lot and wants to have a reliable tripod attached to his/her backpack or even shoulder bag all the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Build Quality, but not tall enough for my needs. This tripod is extremely light, well packaged, and nicely put together. I was not accustomed to the twist locks, but I imagine with time I would get acclimated to them. It is an excellent size and complement to anyone using a mirrorless camera, or seeking a support for traveling. It would easily find it's way into a bag with little or no second guessing if landscapes or panos were a thing desired without shooting handheld. The primary reason I did not keep it is because I'm 5'11 and I wanted something that could reach up to my eye or even be positioned for self portraits. This wasn't tall enough. I returned, and am watching to see what reviews report about the MeFoto Airs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Woweeeeee!!! I'm not an expert on tripods or anything and this is only my second but I have to say that the quality on this thing far out does anything I've seen in store at BestBuy. I love its size, weight, construction and over all look. This tripod although light weight for simple travel holds my GH4/1-35mm in decent wind conditions with no issue. I can see it have issue at full extension in high wind but the center hook/caribiner compensates for that if you mount a hanging bag or backpack to it. over all I've only used it for a couple of weeks now and look forward to using it on my hiking trip in 2 weeks to Norway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't leave town without one! Bought this light weight tripod for traveling and flying. Chose this manufacturer because they make great solid and sturdy products like Manfrotto, which I own several of their bigger models on. Even with this light weight tripod, I was able to use it on light windy days using a Canon 5DS R and Canon 70mm-200m L lens (both bought from B&H Photo. Excellent buy for the backpacker needing a lighter load. I would like to share this wonderful story with the readers of this review. I recently had to return my first camera, one of many I have purchased for this great retailer. Their no hassle return policy made the return an pleasant experience. I love these guys. They back their products! B&H is my preferred retail store for camera products and other electronics!
