  • 1Description

Make sure you are setting up the right lights for the right job with the CV600 Chrome View Spectrometer from ikan. This portable device is optimized to measure both color and luminance from LED lights designed for film and video applications. It has a measurement range of 70-70,000 lux and can record wavelengths from 380-780nm. Users will have access to a variety of different measurement modes, including CCT, CRI, TLCI, LB, and more for color readings as well as EV, aperture, and shutter speed modes for exposure readings. Flicker detection up to 100 kHz/sec is available for checking the overall quality of your light which is especially important for video.

Operation is made simple and intuitive with a large 3.5" color touchscreen LCD. The CV600 also runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can run for about 5 hours on a single charge. For saving important data about your lights, the device can generate both JPG images and Excel documents which can be saved to an SD card. A USB 2.0 port is available for transfer of this data to your computer for more in depth analysis.

    ikan CV600 reviews

CV600 Chrome View Spectrometer is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most versatile and accurate device on the market I really appreciate having the ability to measure CCT, FC, CRI, TLCi, Flicker rate, gel correction and even exposure. The interface is simple and easy to use and I can save my results for future reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beat the CRI Cheaters The full-spectrum readouts on this meter are worth it when you need to know your lights are putting out the right wavelengths. CRI samples are so small, it's easy to cheat lights up to a high CRI with low measurements in non-measured colors. I use this for checking levels, but it really paid off for a scanning job I had (digitizing paintings). You don't realize what colors you are losing until you find them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must-have Definitely one of the must-have tools on location. On lower budgets, you are often having to match preexisting lights, which can often be a bit of a nightmare. This CV600 is such a huge help in dialing things in very quickly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from problems using with uSpectrum software Reply from UPRtek CV600 support read the data from your SD card , or you can link the USB that CV600 will like the card reader. But it without support PC connecting measurement . Only Read data . fc and lux captured in CV600 file saves do not display correctly in uSpectrum software. Probably good for anyone only using functions within the CV600.
