The EL-Skyport Universal Plus Set from Elinchrom is the latest evolution of EL-Skyport wireless radio triggers and receivers. Sixteen channels are available: 8 in Normal and 8 in Speed mode, with 4 discrete groups for different or sequentially triggered lighting setups at distances up to 656'. Channels 1, 3, and 7 are compatible with all enabled EL-Skyport units. Transmitter channels 1, 3, 7, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 20 are only compatible with the ELC Pro HD flash head and the ELB 400 battery pack system, while the same channels accept signals from EL-Skyport transmitter Plus and EL-Skyport transmitter Plus HS. The 2.5mm sync socket extends the transmitter's versatility to cameras without hot shoes or for hard-wired flash units. Both the EL-Skyport Transmitter and Receiver Plus run on easily sourced AA batteries.

question
Can this be used to fire a Rotolight Neo 2 from a fuji XT2?
While the kit you list above would work, do note that the Rotolight NEO 2 LED Light has a built-in Elinchrom Skyport receiver inside the unit. As such, you would not need the receiver included in the above kit. You could just purchase the Elinchrom EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus, B&H # ELSTP, and trigger the built-in Skyport receiver inside the Rotolight NEO 2 LED Light. Unfortunately, you would not have High-Speed Sync (HSS) compatibility with the Rotolight NEO 2, as you need a dedicated Skyport Plus HS transmitter for HSS usage, and Elinchrom does not have a Skyport Plus HS transmitter for Fujifilm cameras.

question
Could this be used with Alienbees if I were to use the Skyport transmitter? I have a set of bee's and really would like to utilize HSS/HS other than my speedlights.
You would need a miniphone-to-miniphone cable, such as the PocketWizard MM1 Miniphone to Miniphone Cable -12 , B&H # WICMM16, to connect the Elinchrom EL-Skyport Universal Plus Set to your AlienBees monolights. However, do note that this will not add High Speed Sync (HSS) or Hi-Sync (HS) capabilities to an AlienBees monolight. While you will be able to trigger your lights wirelessly, you will not be able to adjust the flash output power, and you will not have HSS or HS capabilities as these features are not built into the AlienBees light fixture.

My Dynalite pack has an integrated pocketwizard ...
My Dynalite pack has an integrated pocketwizard receiver. Will the Elinchrom transmitter talk to the pack without needing to plug in the receiver?
You would need to get a PocketWizard to use with that packs built in receiver. You could use an Elinchrom transmitter but you will need to plug in a receiver.

question
Is there any battery level indicator on the receiver / transmitter ?
Hi,There is no visible battery indicator. The Transmitter and Receiver both run on AA batteries. Usually when AA batteries go the unit will just shut off or not turn on.Regards,Will HBrand Manager Lighting, Mac Group US
