    Blackmagic Design BDLKDUO2 reviews

DeckLink Duo 2 is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product We use this as 4 inputs to our Instant Replay computer. Works great. Be sure to install the software and un-link SDI 1&2 and 3&4 to get 4 different inputs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use with MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt Expansion Chassis Works great as a quad-SDI input card for Wirecast. I have an Intensity Extreme in the other slot for analog/hdmi or monitor output.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great with vMix Got two Duo 2 in one PC = 8 Inputs! I like the SDI connectors on this one vs Quad.... to me it's better to have two cards, if one die i still get one left!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would buy again - Needs better documentation. I use this in a super fast Dell Alienware Area 51 gaming computer to stream programs with 3 cameras using Wirecast. Once the Duo 2 is up and running it works great. I'm able to use 3 of the SDI connectors as inputs, and 1 of the connectors as an output. Because BMD has documentation for all of their capture cards in one PDF, it is difficult to figure out how to install this device only and weed through all the other devices in their document. In fact i never found the Duo 2 listed in their manual, but the Decklink Quad 2 is listed. After much research and contact with technical support I also finally discovered that the Duo 2 won't work with a BMD Intensity Shuttle USB 3 on the same system. I also had to remove the PCIe card and uninstall all the software. I then reinstalled the software, Then installed the PCIe card and let the software update the drivers. When using the Desktop Video Setup, be sure to scroll down and find the connector mapping. The SDI ports on the system aren't labeled so you don't know which is 1, 2 etc. To have independent inputs and outputs, port 1 is set as SDI 1. Port 2 is set as SDI 3. Port 3 is set as SDI 2 and Port 4 is set as SDI 4. Confusing, but now I know how it is configured and works great. Whew.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazed I own a quad 1 since 4 years, solid product, but this new one in better! You can rename inputs with Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility, makes it easier to manage in vMix. It auto detect and adjust to source plugged to inputs! WOW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TRULY 5 INDEPENDENT CHANNELS The channels were truly 5 different channels, my system recognized it as such. And i was able to configure each channel independently (input or output, video format, frame rate etc.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Easy - Flawless Very easy to install for someone who has never done anything like it before. Slide it into an appropriate PCIe slot, install the included software and it just works! We use it to capture cameras into Wirecast for the video streams of our baseball games. Love that you can configure the four SDI's independently as inputs or outputs. May grab another one soon!
