Though it isn't necessarily made for the Sony PXW-X70, it will cover it and it will work to protect it when shooting in the rain.

My Canon R5 with RF 100-500mm extended measures ...
My Canon R5 with RF 100-500mm extended measures 17" from back of eyepiece to front of lens hood. Measured to the back of the lens hood it is 14". Is this Medium size the right one?
Either the medium or large would be a half-decent choice, but it'll be up to your preference. The medium should fit snugly and can also be used cinched half-way on the hood rather than all the way. The large can be semi-scrunched up in order to accommodate a slightly shorter lens.
